Situated in the rural village of Stanton Harcourt, we are just 12 miles outside of Oxford and easily accessible from London by train or car.
Brothers, Will and Olly, our General Manager and our Head Chef, have reimagined our 17th century pub as a food-led destination with an inventive menu of pub classics. A subtle Spanish influence stems from Olly’s time spent working and living in Spain.
Our ground floor boasts a characterful bar littered with open fires and a spacious dining room, while upstairs houses 10 double bedrooms for those who plan to stay overnight.
As brothers, Will and Olly make a great front of house and kitchen duo. Will, our general manager, has worked in hospitality for many years, and Olly, our Head Chef, is pushing boundaries in food. Together, they have reimagined the Harcourt Arms, transforming its menu and design. With a family home in Spain, Will and Olly have a deep love of Catalan food and hospitality, influencing both the menu and the style of service.
We offer the same menu throughout our pub so whether you fancy a pint and some banging bar snacks or a larger feast with family and friends, we’ve got you covered. Snacks include Friggitelli Peppers, Scotch Egg with curry sauce, and Ashcombe & Truffle Gougères, the perfect warm up to Haddock, chips, minty peas, and curried tartare or Porterhouse grilled on the Josper with an array of Olly’s signature sides. Or, join us on Sunday for a wicked roast.
