A food led pub, with an inventive menu curated by our Head Chef Olly Oakley. From traditional pub classics to creative dishes influenced by his time living and working in Spain. Using beautiful cuts of meat and quality British produce, the Josper section of our menu lends itself to a sharing style feast with friends and family.

In the mood to keep it casual? Hole up in a cosy corner to enjoy Olly’s next-level bar snacks and a selection of classic mains from our Pub Grub menu. Feeling something fancier? Saunter through to our newly renovated Dining Room for inventive starters, centrepiece mains cooked on the Josper and banging sides. Think Gnocchi, Pumpkin, Old Winchester, and Smoked Leek or Porterhouse Steak with Pink Fir Potatoes, Seasonal Greens and Hot Horseradish Cream.

Local pints and creative cocktails

Local ales and lagers from Oxford sit alongside an extensive wine list and imaginative cocktail menu created by our barman, Callum. Think sloe gin and grapefruit juice mixed with soda for a refreshing pre-dinner tipple by the fire.
